Bought a DT 11 L from Matt at Joel Etchen maybe 6 months ago. It appears my original review was removed. Long story short, the new in box DT I received had a major cosmetic issue in that the forend and the stock wood were two completely different shades of color. There was also cosmetic damage like several small dings where the butt pad was joined with the stock and scratches/blemishes on the barrels and monoblock. I was also disappointed I was told there were extra trigger groups with the engraved pattern but then after I put my order in I was later told (after trying to reconfirm a half dozen times) that they didn’t in fact exist. Pros of Etchen are the cheaper prices. Also Matt was very good at responding to emails. Cons are that it’s going to cost me a lot of money to trade in this DT and get something without the cosmetic issues. They really shouldn’t have let this ship, and Matt said as much when he apologized but I was really surprised they’d sell something like this to a customer. My advice is pay a little bit more upfront and do business with your local shop where you can inspect before you buy.
